A
small rural churchneeded a new pastor: the one who'd been pastor at the
church for many years had just retired. For months, different lay ministers
-- non-ordained members of the congregation -- were serving as interim ministers
while the search for a new minister continued. Each potential pastor wanted
to learn more about the church, and one of the church elders with a youthful
mind suggested the web might be a wise choice. This web page was commissioned
and then rapidly built: start to finish it took mere weeks.
The church is still seeking a full-time ordained minister --
there is a real scarcity of ministers apparently. This $299 web page makes
the search a great deal easier.
BREAKING NEWS: The church recently hired a full-time pastor
-- who had located the church because of this web-site!
A small regional telephone company had wasted a lot of time
-- and money -- trying to get their site online. Months of excuses, but no
working website. Embarrassing since they owned the local ISP and claimed
web-page design expertise, yet still couldn't get their own site up after
a year of effort. They turned to RamNet Web Design and had their site up
and operational in no time.
For less money than they had thought, too. A lot less!

KonSeal
-- a clever idea in need of a site. |
The owner of a great idea heard the web might be a good way to promote that
idea -- and get some sales, too! A simple Ecommerce site, it immediately gave
credibility to the idea, and visibility previously only dreamed of! RamNet
Web Design will be doing a lot more work with KonSeal -- currently, they're
a one product company with great ideas for the future. RamNet designed with
an eye towards that future: the site can handle an infinite number of items.
Soup to Nuts, the preliminary site went from idea to full implementation in
a day. After KonSeal had spent a year being promised a site, they didn't have
to wait for us! We were there when they needed us.
It was an interesting task: the Smith Family had a reunion. Hundreds of people
from all over the country, from month-old babies to 100 year old-timers converged
on the old homestead in North Carolina for a few days. We had to make a web-site
of thier digital photos, accessible to all. We did a job they loved. Simple
and elegant. It worked.
